Tengah bosan tunggu keje mai, aku tulis je la apps yang ada kat iphone aku nih.
Pelik jugak when people say "app" nowadays, they usually refer to iphone/android apps. Masa dulu people would call applications as apps, small apps as widgets and whatnot. Or was it applications as software or programs, entahlah.
Stuff that I thought were cool when I downloaded them but in the end never used them (* denominates Cydia apps):
Seesmic - Crashes just about every time I use it. Originally this was solely for my Pengkicau account (which I rarely use) and my alternate Mukabuku account.
Twitter - Same sad story as Seesmic
Foursquare - Pergh ini masa dulu selalu sangat guna as I went to many places a few months back. Nowadays senyaaaapppp aje.
Things - Supposedly as my organizer, but being a messy person, I never organize my organizer.
Bump - Semata2 nak bump ngan orang tapi takde orang nak bump (aku takde kawan)
PCalc - Scientific calculator yang last2 tak guna pun... Pelik hapsal la aku pi download menatang ni in the first place.
Barcode Kanojo - Game buat awek dari barcode. At first agak best jugak as your "Kanojo" is unique. Contohnya aku buat "Kanojo" dari barcode coffee can, and then the next person who scans that coffee can would have to "flirt" with my "Kanojo" to get her. Kinda sad but the idea of having a game that generates unique stuff from everyday products was novel.
AroundMe - Uses Augmented Reality to show places of interest around you. Quite interesting but very choppy. And I never go to those places in the first place, anyway (bars, clubs, high class restaurants, etc).
Infinicam - Creates filters for images. Kinda cool but I've never used it.
*iFile - Never used this until the iPhone music management issue came along.
Dice - A simple app for dices. May come in handy some day, but not now or ever.
Apps that I usually use:
Mukabuku - Yes... The all addictive SNS app. Did you know that social networking sites have overtook the number one activity on the internet from the all prevailing porn?
UnblockMe - Satu2nya game yang aku main lama2 because not addictive and banyak gile puzzle (I'm at 350/600 for intermediate. Dah abis 600/600 of beginner).
iPod - Although this comes with the phone, I've been using this for ages. Since I bought my bluetooth receiver, memang best dengar lagu while driving.
Camera - Same thing. Plus aku suka the screenshot function for iPhone (kena press home and power button at the same time, ya).
*SBSettings - Antara benda yang aku paling suka dalam iphone nih because all the controls are just a swipe away. Turning on bluetooth, internet tethering, wi-fi, airplane mode, kill processes, etc, etc.
PocketCloud - REMOTE PC! YEAH! Skarang boleh control pc rumah dari iPhone aku! Muahsss!!!
Kotoba! - Japanese dictionary because I don't know Japanese.
Dictionary - English dictionary because I don't know English.
SleepUp! - Self-acclaimed sleep enhancer. Supposedly makes the user have a deep sleep for a more refreshing wake up. I'm not sure if this has a placebo effect on me or not, but I woke up refreshed this morning... And slept again 30 seconds after that.
PPGSGMYPRO - Papago navigation system. Quite convenient except that iPhone's GPS function isn't that accurate. I might be driving along the highway and suddenly find myself driving in the jungle beside it.
IRC999 - Yes, there IS an IRC client for the iphone! Great for chatting while driving!
VLC - Guna ni untuk tengok movie ehem and transfer files from pc to pc.
Skype - Untuk conference calls (Skype for iPhone does not allow the iPhone user to make conference calls btw).
Other apps that were cool but not on my phone anymore:
Videowallpaper - Thanks to Mr. Jem for telling me about this app. It was cool to have a video for the background. Last2 buang pasal it was conflicting with some other stuff on my phone.
... Aik, tu aje? Ke my memory is getting worse?
So itulah dia, an iPhone user bragging about his iPhone. Hope that this bores you guys or for the iPhone/smartphone user, may have some hints on what should be on your phone (like remote PC, etc).
