YN560III test, a set on Flickr.
So I bought the Yongnuo 560 III flash, a generic remote trigger and hooked it up to my Sony NEX-5 + JJC MA10 hotshoe adapter.
Still learning on how to use this thing.
One thing's for sure, shutter speed can't be less than 1/400 because the flash won't sync properly. I think I need to find an S2 setting for the flash since the NEX uses a pre-flash.
Other than that, since I'm on manual and the camera doesn't think I have a flash on it, the live view is pretty damn dark and I have no idea what I'm shooting at. Would be a major problem if I'm using manual or digital manual focus.
All in all, maybe the YN360 I loaned from linkin (or oyaji, confuse plak) has better sync with the trigger. Still need time to play with the YN560.
Ironically, the YN560 comes with built-in receiver but I still have to use a receiver and put the flash on manual.
Anyways, thats just about it.
