I had some problems creating a proposal for this one company as I am a total noob when it comes to project management.
I felt like I should have choked the person who gave me the job since he doesn't know what it is, and I don't know what it is, and just about everyone else doesn't know what it is because they're so accustomed to their working culture.
So I sought help from a PMP professional, the aforementioned Mr. Din Kacang. He's an Ir. by the way (whatever that means).

He helped a lot eventhough the amount of information was little. At least I know that giving out tenders and proposals in the western world is a one time thing rather than building up a relationship with the client to get the tender.
Now being that the original direction on how to do the proposal was by more or less "different", I'm not sure if what I am creating is what the client wants.
In fact, Mr. Kacang says that making a project management plan is actually based on a common template and project managers would edit their way from there.
So what, now I'm a project manager? In addition to the business manager, the office boy, the marketing, customer, sales and technical support personnel, and the driver as well? With my current knowledge and experience, I don't think so.
Hell, my current salary doesn't even pay me enough to do this, okay?
So in any case, I think I need to take some PMP lessons.
And Adan's dad passed away last month. He was 54, and was healthy. He died in his sleep after feeling a little bit feverish.
And one of our batch guys has brain tuberculosis (a disease that doctors in Malaysia say they have never seen before). He's bed-ridden from last month, paralyzed.
With so many things like these going around, I start to wonder if I've done enough good in my life.
