1. Main PSP Steins;Gate
Mostly because of the animu that's airing now. I mean, seronok plak main as its a very light adventure game, or audio novel, or... whatever genre this is supposed to be.
Usually I just turn it on and plug in my earphones while I do some other work (making shelves, taking pictures, doing the laundry, driving the car, etc).
2. Photography
Ever since I've bought the NEX-5, I've been taking pictures of figures just about every night (creepy, aint it?). Playing around with manual focus, white balance, ISOs, aperture, poses and angles.
But since the beginning of this week, mula rajin buat softbox pulak.
My first attempt was to use an old white plastic (?) box which I got from my old company a few years back. It did well but I figured that the light was too dispersed, so it was just like a normal direct light source but with softer light. So I just taped the box to my lamp stand and that was it.
My second attempt was to build a box from scratch. Went to carrefour, got myself a plastic board, cut it into a "somewhat" softbox shape, covered the insides with heavy duty aluminium foil, used an old namecard plastic box to hold the edges and taped everything together.
Made the holder for the box to be set in place... which failed miserably.
In any case, it was a better option compared to the white box I used. IMHO, at least.
The next night, I reinforced the box and cut off any excessive aluminium foil on the outsides of the box. Reinforced, i.e. used MORE duct tape. And spit. A lot of spit.
Also bought a table lamp for a second light source. I'll be building the box tonight... If I can.
Also found a ultra-portable DIY softbox on the internet for my camera flash. May be doing that some other time later.
Oh, and I moved from flickr to imgur since I've finished my flickr usage for this month.
