Within 17 hours, I will be married to one Nazatul Adirah bt. Md. Nor.
As I haven't been writing anything in this blog, I think I should at least write this down as this is a huge turning point in my life.
I am glad that I am marrying this person.
Its high time that I should be accountable for my own self, and in this case, for my future wife's self.
I still don't have that much pressure except for reciting the doa qunut, which I've been frantically memorizing over the past few days.
The thought of being married to her seems so natural to me that I don't have any questions of whether I'm doing the right thing or not.
I just hope I can lead her through the right path. Lead us to the right path.
I know that there will be so many obstacles in front of us.
We might be the obstacles themselves.
But I know we'll get through all of them.
My heart, which has been a vast desert filled with sarcasm, foolishness and selfishness has been filled with love, unconditional love, from her. The huge gush of emotions running through like a waterfall into my soul has overwhelmed me, believing, knowing that she is the one.
I might be naive, but this is one thing that I am sure about.
I am glad that I've met you at this point of life.
I thank God every time I think of you as He has given me this wonderful person for me to spend my life with.
I am sorry that I haven't met you earlier to prevent you from having so many disappointments in your past.
I may not be the best person around, what with my scarred, twisted, and at times, outright absurd personality.
I may think differently than others and might not be as conversive as other normal people as I think way too much, often pessimistic and am sometimes negative.
But I will do my best to accommodate you, tend to you, care for you, and make you happy. For now and always.
I sincerely take this responsibility.
Deera, it is an honor for me to be your husband.
And you will always be my one, come rain or shine.
6/7/2012, Adam bin Hasno.
